Vina Hue

In April, my family and I stayed at Vina spa hotel Hue, Vietnam. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel. Thank you to all the hotel team and hope to have the opportunity to use the service again in the future. We traveled from Laos to Hue, Nha Trang, Danang, and spent 8 days in Laos. The trip was very enjoyable, seeing many cities in Vietnam. Vietnamese people are very friendly and welcoming to foreigners. At each stop, we were greeted with a lovely smile and given advice throughout our trip. Thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏

Good value hotel in an equally good location. It’s a 30 min walk to the citadel, 10 mins to a lively bar area and if that’s not your thing then there’s an array of restaurants and coffee shops all in the area. Directly opposite is a very nice coffee shop. It’s down a side road so was very peaceful. My room had a good view of the perfume river, was clean and the bed was comfortable. Amenities included a safe,hairdryer, tea coffee and water. The shower produced plenty of hot water, while the a/c worked well. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they were able to securely store my rented bicycle while rented scooters can park outside. Laundry is 25k/kilo. The only minor negatives were a bin in the room rather than just the toilet bin would have been useful, there was a little bit of mold in the bathroom, particularly around the window, and the plug mechanism in the shower/bath to lift up the plug didn’t work. Overall though I was very happy with my stay and I’d definitely use this hotel again if ever I return to Hue.

The staff are lovely - they could not do enough for you and made an effort to talk to you. Linea (hope I remembered correctly) and another woman were particularly helpful. The other woman upgraded my room when I asked if the room had a window! The room itself was amazing - it was very spacious and had a great view. The room was clean - particularly the bathrooms. I preferred the walk-in shower bathroom as it was easy to use. The showers could have been a little more powerful for my liking but certainly useable. The breakfast is good - I did not know sesame seeds made a big difference to banana pancakes! Please do note that breakfast does finish at 9am. Overall it was a good stay.
