The resort is amazing, nice view of the Zambezi river, the food was amazing with a variety on menu also other options for special diets. My family and I enjoyed our stay, the staff are kind, professional, welcoming made me and my family feel at home, always putting on a smile on their face and very helpful too. I would recommend if you wanted to have some quality time with your family it's the right place to be.

This was a lovely resort and the staff were adorable! However, i was heavily disappointed with the food and dining here :( We stayed here for perhaps 3 days and i found myself only managing a few bites from each meal before giving up on the last day and only eating the bread... That's very harsh bless i do apologise, especially since the chef was truly adorable but i would recommend anyone coming here (especially with picky eaters/children) to perhaps pack a few emergency snacks or quickly go to a store to grab some little nibs. If it helps at all, i think the main problem was some foods being slightly undercooked (ravioli) and others being slightly too stale as i imagine they were kept frozen instead of being fresh (cheesecake). If it also helps- that bread is the reason i'm alive today and it was delish. Again, i apologies for the harsh review and it was a beautiful and super friendly resort nevertheless!

The lodge is in an excellent location situated in a small reserve.. Was quite cool to have a monkey sat outside on the roof on our balcony..... Rooms are clean and well equipped - good size with full bathroom including bath tub Mosquito nets around the bed and sprays in the room Staff are great in the upstairs restaurant for breakfast and dinner - not so sure about in Uijiji downstairs..... bit of a couldn't care less attitude Downside - lack of sunbeds around the pool - especially when many children put towels on them and don't get out of the pool for hours.... Snack drinks menu is incorrect but not advised... prices we expected to pay were "apparently" not available so more than double charged on a couple of occasions Check your invoice as they tried to charge us for pre-paid accommodation on checking out again Would return if ever back from UK but would check all invoices.....
