The Royal Livingstone

Amazing resort, our favourite place in the world we’ve ever stayed. Staff were amazing, rooms luxurious and the food and drinks were 10/10

The hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the Zambezi River a stone's throw from the beautiful Victoria Falls. It is beautiful and well maintained and beautifully decorated. It has everything you would expect from a five-star hotel. Everything good is surpassed by the staff, from the gardeners, the porters, the chambermaids and waiters, really everyone makes you feel welcome. In short, heartwarming.

We have been lucky enough to stay at some incredible hotels all over the world, and this one definitely ranks as one of the best! The grounds are simply stunning, with wonderful views over the Zambezi. The restaurant served the most fabulous food - we were there for three nights and still the menu had so many dishes we would have wanted to try if only we had a few more nights to stay! The breakfast buffet was outstanding, to sit on the terrace overlooking the grounds and roaming wildlife was an absolute joy. The pool was rather cold (shame it wasn’t heated) but wonderful to sit by and relax on the extremely comfortable loungers. All staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our bedroom had recently been renovated and was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Not an easy place to get to from the UK but I would seriously consider coming here again just to stay at this wonderful hotel.
