Take a photo with the Golden Temple Park Jindian park located on Mingfengshan Mountain. The reason why this temple is called "Golden Temple" is because it is made entirely of brass, weighing more than 380 tons, which is considered the largest brass building in China. Importantly, it is also a sacred place for the Chinese people in the past. Visit the largest and oldest temple in Kunming, Yuantong Temple, built since the Tang Dynasty, approximately 1,200 years ago. It used to be a Guanyin Temple, so there is a large Guanyin statue. Today, it is an ancient site enshrining the relics of the Buddha.

Travel to Dali City, an autonomous region in southwest China, Yunnan Province, located between Erhai Lake and Changshan Mountain. Visit the city that is full of charm and fascinating. Dali Old Town is home to many walking streets, city gate towers and temples. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and has been well preserved.

Worship Guanyin to increase your awesomeness at Guanyin Temple. According to legend, Guanyin transformed into an old woman carrying a large rock on her back for the opposing soldiers to see. When the enemy soldiers saw that even an old woman was this strong, if it were a young person, they would have a lot of strength and would be difficult to fight, so they did not attack the city and retreated. The townspeople built this temple during the Tang Dynasty. It is one of the most beautiful temples in Dali.
Pass by the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas (three pagoda dali) or Shantan on the shores of Erhai Lake. Consisting of 3 beautiful white pagodas, the central one is 70 meters high and is over 1,000 years old. In 1978, more than 600 relics from the 7th to 10th centuries were discovered in the pagoda.
Travel to Zhongdian or Shangri-La, where you will see high mountains covered with snow almost all year round. It is a city with beautiful nature and Tibetan culture.

Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge (Tour fee does not include escalator fee). Located between the intersection of Lijiang and Zhongdian, the water in this area flows very fast. According to legend, in the past, a tiger could jump across this gorge to the other side because in the middle of the river there is a rock called “Tiger Leaping Rock”, which is over 13 meters high, hence the name “Tiger Leaping Gorge”.
Get to know more about yaks at the Yak Museum, a museum that tells the long history of yaks, with a zone displaying pictures and statues, and a zone displaying food production from yaks. Because this place is considered the base of the industrial factory for processing yak food. Take a leisurely stroll in the Shangri-La Ancient Town, located in Shangri-La. Most of the houses are Tibetan-style wooden houses built to communicate to tourists about the history and travel back in time to the past of Shangri-La. Zhongdian Old Town is located next to a small mountain peak.

Magnificent Songzanlin Lama Temple was built in 1679. It is a 300-year-old lama temple with over 700 lamas living here. It was built by the 5th Dalai Lama and contains many antiques, including the most famous bronze statue.
Experience the Tibetan atmosphere. Napahai Lake is located in the nature reserve of Shangri-La City, 3,266 meters above sea level. With the great protection and care of the local people, the beautiful nature, water, grasslands, mountains and sky, everything is perfectly combined. It is a comfortable sight. Along the way, there are villagers living here and there. There are animals, cows, horses or yaks to be seen along the way.

Travel to Lijiang City, a city located in a valley with beautiful scenery. It is the home of the Naxin people. Admire the Black Dragon Pool (Heillongtan, Black Dragon Pool) in a public park that UNESCO has designated as a World Heritage Site. There are legends that some dragons have appeared underwater, while others have surfaced. The Dragon Pool was built during the Qing Dynasty (Manchu). The highlight of this place is the crystal clear water, as clear as emeralds. The art, culture, and architecture combine the cultures of the Han and Tibetan people.
Stop by the Snow Lotus Shop or Bao Su Tang Cream, or better known as “Snow Lotus Cream”, which is excellent for treating burns and blisters, treating swelling and redness of the skin, or itching of the skin. Insect bites are a common household medicine. Take a leisurely stroll in the ancient city of Lijiang (Lijiang Old Town), an old city over 800 years old, where the Naxi or Nazi people settled. There are walkways paved with compacted stones, ancient Chinese wooden buildings, a stream running through almost every house, and an old stone arch bridge. It is also known as the “Venice of the East” and is a World Heritage Site.
