Yutoku Inari Shrine, another ancient shrine in Saga Prefecture that is hundreds of years old, was built around 1688. It is a Shinto Buddhist shrine that is the shrine of the Nabeshima clan, the ruler of Saga City during the Edo period. It is also the third largest and most important Inari shrine after Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto and Kasama Inari Shrine in Ibaraki. Take a ride on the Beppu Ropeway, a giant ropeway that connects the foot of the mountain to the top of Mt. Tsurumi in Beppu City.
