Louvre Museum E-Ticket Paris

– What to Expect –
A Louvre Museum admission ticket grants you easy access to one of the world’s most celebrated museums. Enjoy a seamless visit with pre-arranged entry and skip the long lines.
The Louvre houses a vast collection of art ranging from Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Greek antiquities to masterpieces by renowned artists such as da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. With more than 35,000 works of art, the museum offers countless treasures to admire.
Its collection focuses on two major periods in art history: the arts and crafts of ancient civilizations—particularly those that laid the foundations of Western art—and Western European art from the Middle Ages up to 1848. Spanning nearly the entire history of art, your ticket grants access to an extraordinary range of exhibits.
This iconic museum began as a royal palace housing the private art collection of the French kings. The artworks were first displayed here in 1725 under royal patronage, but the Louvre only opened as a public gallery in 1793 during the French Revolution.
Soon after, the museum’s already impressive collection was enriched with treasures acquired during Napoleon’s campaigns across Europe.
