Conventillo de Lujo Apartamentos

Located very conveniently in Palermo Hollywood this is a most adorable place to stay. My apartment was spacious, with a balcony on a quiet street. The interior design of the whole conventillo is fabulous and unique. Amy and Ray are very adorable hosts, I felt immediately welcome and part of the family. I look forward to come back to Buenos Aires and live here again.

We stayed at Conventillo for a few nights, arriving after just having a backpack stolen, losing credit cards, a passport, etc. Amy and others couldn't have done more to help us regroup and feel at home. The location is ideal, rooms have great amenities, and the delicious breakfast (best we had while traveling in Argentina and Uruguay) all made this the perfect place to stay in Buenos Aires. We will return one day, and look forward to staying at Conventillo de Lujo again.

The first time I stayed here was back in 2007. The hosts; Amy, Ray and Angel are so helpful, friendly and fun. You also benefit from their knowledge of the area and of course - their knowledge about tango. If you stay here for a group trip, you can get the benefit of Angel's teaching - he loves to teach and to see people improve. He has really good attention to detail saying that 'small changes can make a big difference'. Many international students will tell you how much he has helped them. As Conventillo de Lujo specialise in group trips, we were talking about what we can offer for a group trip next year, staying at this 'home from home', adding in some lovely day trips and activities and creating the sort of opportunity to relax, recuperate and then get energised!
