For me it was just a place to sleep and go. It's a very good location a 5 min walking distance to the subway, good restaurants all around the hotel. The beds are very small, they don't give you enough towells or toiltet paper you have to call them for it. Staff is friendly they are willing to help as much as they can. The WiFi only work in the lobby not in the rooms. The Breakfast was good a variety of pastry, breads, cereal, fruits salad, yogurt, coffee, tea etc.
I recommend this hotel if you are on a budget or just in and out for most of your stay.

Situated right on the Plazza Congresso, on the opposite corner to National congress Building where Eva Peron debated. Right in an historic part of the City and on the cornwer to the underground station (so easy to use as only 5 lines and 4 of them head in same direction) easy after using the vast London Underground and very cheap!! This hotel is very pleasant and the staff bend over backwards to hep you. For where it is its good value indeed. Rooms are mostly double beds and the room itself is adequate although a bit on the shabby side. Some rooms have fridges. Doors have a weird locking system and it takes a while to get used to! Not good if you have had a skinfull! Smoking and non Smoking rooms available. Lift available and so is Internet (but much much cheaper to use in the shop 4 doors away). Hotel kept spotless and hygeine very good. Breakfast is served late too!!! A vast variety of Pastries, Cakes and Breads, 3 choices of Cereal, Juices, Yoghurt drinks, T, C & Choc also, Jams, Butters, Marge, its all there, sometimes some fruit too which when there is in abundance. The staff did not mind if you wanted to take your food away and eat in your room, neither did they worry about people making up food parcels for Lunch (or is it they were not as eagle eyed as me)! All self service, but you can go back time and time again, cosy but strange layout and TV on all the time (typical of SA). Reconstituted Orange Juice like most of SA. Apple Juice tasted of real Apples. For what you are paying and for where you are I would definatley recommend it. Bus service, with many buses going in all directions pass right past the Plazza. It is best to pay in Euros or US$. Even the US$ its worth changing (at the time I went) to Euros as they have their own "special" exchange rate if you get my drift!!! Local currency is much more expensive to pay in as Argentina wants Euros and US$. Forget about other currencies. Cards are OK but there is a Bank charge. If popping over to Uraguary for the day and comming back get some US$ from cash machine in Uraguary, this has a big impact on your spending power in Argentina. There are other eateries close by, basic Naff Caff's but the beers are cheap (although service is abysmal) and beware of the Pidgeons, they are ruthless and spitefull!!!! Many times a Pidgeo would just hop onto my plate while I was eating and help itself!! Its also not wise to sit under the trees!!

Hotel was chosen for a business trip and a need of the room for 3 for a reasonable price, besides we needed a specific location in the Buenos Aires. Although, the hotel was definitely lower than 3 stars. Room was not clean at all, all the furtinure is old-fashioned - the hotel has never been renewed. The room had specific smell of moisture and cleaning fluids. Room is tiny for 3 beds and there is no space at all to move normally.
We had a chance to see that room for 1 is much better and has newer furniture and better view.
Brekafast is totally fine, gives a good variaty of food and drinks. Staff is extremely nice and friendly.
