Location is great for my needs. Their atmosphere is great, a cozy elegant ambience. The rooms are ample and with the necessary for a business or pleasure visit. It is very clean, and their service is good. If you want a pleasant visit, with a convenient location, restaurants close by and a very efficient attention I recommend you visit Hotel Emperador.

This was the hotel offered by Hx Expeditions, prior to our Antarctic Expedition. We were only here for a night. The check in was quick & easy and we got our room straight away. Room was beautiful and very big, facing the hotel garden. We decided to have a quick lunch and a drink at the bar, took so long to arrive and VERY pricey.

Hotel Emperador certainly nails the location, placing you right in the heart of Recoleta, but that is unfortunately where the perks end. It is truly disappointing to find a property marketed as a five-star establishment failing so spectacularly at the basics of hospitality. We stayed for a full week, yet our in-room coffee supplies were provided only on the first night, and the breakfast service was, frankly, abysmal. It is hard to shake the impression that the hotel is struggling to remain profitable, as the pervasive atmosphere of penny-pinching and the noticeable absence of standard services make it clear that guest comfort is no longer their priority. For the price point they are demanding, the experience feels entirely out of sync with expectations for this tier of hotel. I strongly encourage anyone planning a trip to Buenos Aires to look into the myriad of other choices within the Recoleta neighborhood. There are several alternatives that are comparatively priced but offer a level of service and attention to detail that actually honors the "five-star" designation. Save yourself the frustration and choose a property that treats its guests with the standard of care they deserve.
