We stayed for 2 nights in January 2020 before taking a cruise to the Antarctic. We arrived early in the morning and the helpful receptionist team chased up to get us our room rather than wait around. It might have been because we got the room early but we had one that faced into the light well with a small window. The room and its facilities were fine and the bathroom large and well equipped but it was a bit gloomy due to lack of light. The continental breakfast was fine and enough to set us up for the day. The reception was a bit on the small side and very busy. It seems this was popular with tours because there was a lot of coming and going and the seats in reception pretty much full.
Location was good and walking distance to the Obelisco, tourist buses, main square and parks. There were plenty of eating places nearby. We also booked a tango show at the Ventana which was well worth the money. Also a visit Carmenita is an absolute must. Buenos Aires was not on our bucket list, just a jumping off point for the cruise but we really enjoyed our visit.
Overall we had a pleasant stay in a decent well situated hotel which was very good value for money.
