Reconquista Luxor

On the way back from Antarctica, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It was not the best I have to say. I am not sure what made me choose this hotel in the first place. The only positive was its location next to the Obelisk Square. The room was not good, with old and poorly preserved furniture and questionable cleanliness. Breakfast was basic, with two options of bread cheese, fruits and cereal, all looked they have been there for days.

This hotel is NOT a 4-star hotel; it smells too much like tobacco, the sheets are old and torn, the mattress is dirty, and the air conditioning has mold. The facilities are really old and neglected; it should not be a hotel of this category.
