The NH Collection Lancaster Hotel is my new home away from home when I travel to Buenos Aires. This hotel is pure class from the beginning to the end. It starts with a friendly greeting from the door man and carries itself all the way through the front desk staff to the bartender, breakfast staff and ends beautifully with the room attendants. First class operation all the way. We visited the NH Collection Lancaster for a short visit in late May. I enjoyed it so much that I made a return visit just a few weeks later. We are already conspiring to make another visit very soon. My visit started with emails from Liliana and Abpril requesting my arrival information. My flight from Houston arrived Buenos Aires fairly early and they were eager to accommodate my early arrival. I was granted an earlier than normal check in which was very helpful to us as we had a busy day planned. It was nice to unpack and take a shower before beginning our day. Liliana was of even further help with maps and recommendations that we found very useful. She is a rock star !! Every tip she provided proved to be beneficial. Our accommodations were very nice. I had a well appointed room with a large bathroom and shower. My king bed was very comfortable and covered with an assortment of pillows with varying degrees of firmness which I took full advantage of. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Platters of pastries, fruits, and sliced meats along with a nice selection of juices to choose from. There were a few hot selections like eggs and sausages. I requested an omelet and it was perfect. With a cup of coffee, a glass of apple juice and a couple pastries, I was sufficiently prepared to tackle the day. Another highlight of our stay was the time we spent in the bar with the bartender ( Christian) whom we affectionately renamed Bob. Bob is a true gem. He makes the most wonderful drinks I have ever had and Im very well traveled. I had 3 Lemon Drop martinis and my friend was keeping pace with Old Fashioneds. Watching Bob prepare our drinks was almost as enjoyable as partaking of them. Others in the bar were equally as satisfied as we were with their selections. Kudos Bob !! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the NH Collection Lancaster Hotel and will exclusively stay there while in Buenos Aires. The exceptional service we recieved from Liliana, Abpril and the Meistro behind the bar, Christian (Bob) make it a pleasure to be at home away from home. I can't wait to see them all again.
