Intercontinental Buenos Aires Hotel

I stayed for three nights at the Two Hotel Buenos Aires and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The rooms are very small and offer very little space, to the point that it is difficult to comfortably accommodate two suitcases. Furthermore, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. However, the most serious thing was something else: during my stay I was a victim of a theft inside my room. I had kept cash inside my suitcase and, the next day, the money had disappeared. I immediately reported what happened at the front desk and spoke with the General Manager, who at first seemed understanding and willing to help me, assuring me that she would investigate the case and try to find a solution. Unfortunately, as the hours passed I understood that they were just words to calm me down, without a real intention of seriously managing the situation. I filed a formal complaint with the police and submitted all the requested documentation, with the hope that the person responsible would be identified or that, as they had initially led me to believe, the hotel's insurance would cover the loss. Unfortunately, none of that happened. What disappointed me the most was not just the financial loss, but also the superficiality and the lack of interest in managing such a serious incident. A hotel should offer its guests a safe environment. Instead, I was a victim of a theft precisely in the place where I should have felt most protected. For this reason, I want to warn anyone who is thinking about booking this hotel. I sincerely hope that no other guest has to experience what I did.

It is an excellent hotel, close to everything, commerce, sights and downtown Buenos Aires. The room is cleaned every day, very white sheets, the bathroom smelly. The reception staff are very careful and polite.

The room is very small, there is almost no space to open the suitcase, and the staff is not helpful with tourists. Rather friendlier with fellow countrymen. There was no hairdryer in the room, but I received one upon request at the reception. Breakfast is okay. It was sufficient for the tour. There is a supermarket nearby. There was no bottle of water in the room. However, you could fill your own bottle at a water station in the restaurant. The hotel is centrally located, with a restaurant nearby.
