Lago Gutierrez Lodge

We went up on a trip with about 8 friends, to play some golf in Arelauquen (2mins away) and Llao Llao and relax. The lodge / cabin (not sure what to call it) is beautiful, very cozy. Very clean, neat rooms (nothing fancy), perfect showers. No TVs so no one bothers with loud noises and great fireplace in the living room. Jorge, the manager, is GREAT! Always trying to make feel at home. Organized an amazing "asado a la cruz" (a whole lamb cooked for about 5hs) that was just perfect. We'll be back again next year for sure!!!!

Besides been lucky to have 5 full sunny days the place is fantastic, Everything works, the management is very polite and ready to give a hand in everything that you need and makes you enjoy your stay even more. Place, room breakfast and food excellent. No doubt highly recommended. Charlie

Where to start? Lago Gutierrez Lodge was the perfect living hub for a beautiful week of holidays. First, because of its proximity to the base of the ski tracks, making it a fantastic place to stay away from the bustle of the base but close enough to wake up every morning and make it well in time for the opening of the lifts. Second, coming back every day to enjoy the local cuisine served by Jorge, the cook, is an invaluable experience that allows for a carefree relaxing vacation. However, probably the most incredible part of the Lodge is its location, right by the shore of the Gutierrez Lake, a rare beauty and part of the iconic landscape that makes Bariloche unique!
