If you choose to stay at this hotel I would recommend that you go there on your own car, otherwise get ready to walk a lot or to pay for taxi every time you want to go to the center of the town or to the ropeway. The hotel is located on the hill and far from the city center. It is good if you just want to stay at the hotel and go nowhere else. But inside there is not much to do, perhaps only the fitness center and the swimming pool. But swimming pool is small and they do not allow more than 5 persons to get into it. You can also seat on the benches installed in front of the hotel to drink coffee or tea and enjoy the gorgeous view opening from there, but be careful not to catch cold, take warm clothes or rugs to cover yourself as it is cold there in the evenings even in summer. The internal design is awful, you can see a mixture of many styles and colors everywhere that are tasteless. The rooms are also decorated in tasteless style, although they are clean but there is a smell of dampness everywhere.

We stayed for two nights in August 2013 in a room that had a separate living area, mini fridge and king bed. It was a large and comfortable hotel with a couple of bars, a restaurant and some recreation areas (swimming pool, game room). We ate at the restaurant one evening, and the food was fine. Overall, this was an "OK" hotel for us -- it didn't seem like a luxury hotel, just a standard family-oriented resort. The surrounding mountains and landscape were gorgeous, though! It was cool and misty most of the time we were there, and the room had large windows that we left open most of the time. Very relaxing. If you don't speak Armenian or Russian, you WILL need a translator. I would stay here again!
