We stopped in on route to Melbourne. The location within easy walking distance to main drag and the cost were pretty good. People may find some rooms facing onto Wilson Street to suffer from a bit of traffic noise, so can't open windows for fresh air. The room was a decent size with usual touches. It's not the Taj Mahal but not paying premium price. The decor is older and the bathroom definitely needs updating, shower was sub par. Suggest they invest in some slighty bigger towels as the ones provided were pretty small. Recommend the Bended Elbow pub for a meal just 5 minutes walk away. Overall happy with stay but would look at other options if back through area.

We stayed for one night on our way to Canberra and if I had my choice again I would have chosen to stay elsewhere. The room was large and clean and the mattress comfortable but the room and bathroom were very dated. You couldn’t open the window (apart from it not wanting to be opened) as it let in even more road noise which went on for most of the night as it is a busy street. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The best feature was the huge wall tv! The property was not inviting at all from the dried out planter to the right of the entrance to the very worn and sad look to the property.

Huge room with comfy bed, couch , kitchinette and space to feel at home. Very clean , great location, walk to town , great off street parking, and surprisingly quiet considering its on a main road. A bit outdated , but the size of a small home unit. I had trouble with the tv, but the owner fixed it promptly. I thought it good value.
