MURRAMARANG RESORT

What a find! Fabulous spot. Our Beach Villa had a stunning view of the ocean, kangaroos and kookaburras. The heated pool is great but does need a hand rail to get in, as it’s quite a deep step. Dinner at the bistro was delicious, lots of facilities, comfy bed but our cabin was starting to need a bit of maintenance. I hope the management keep on top of it. We will definitely be back again. Want to explore the rock pools when the weather is better.

Unhygienic and Health Concern We stayed here 16–19 January 2026 and had a terrible experience. After a 3.5-hour drive with my two children, we were given a room with heavy dust, mould on the ceiling and curtains, and food left on the sofa. Maintenance even confirmed the room was not acceptable. We were moved to another room, only to find all three mattresses stained — one with blood and two with urine — plus more food debris in the sofa bed. Staff could not provide clean mattresses or another room, so we were forced to leave. This was a serious health concern, particularly for anyone with allergies or children. We lost a full day of our holiday and had to find last-minute accommodation elsewhere. I would not recommend staying here.

This place is a dump. It is dirty and dusty. This is our third time here and boy have the standards dropped. We paid over three hundred dollars per night per cabin, for 5 ocean view villas. We called many times to have the cabins together, but each time we were told , " oh it's not possible, it's like playing tetris' So the lady was completely unhelpful. There are stains in the toilets, dust everywhere, mould, the property is very damaged. Blinds stuck, couch ripped, iron burn on the carpet, curtains have stains. If you have hayfever or asthma, you will suffer staying in these cabins. These are suppose to be the nicer cabins on the 'resort' but they are 3 star standard. The staff here are rude and arrogant No customer service at all. What a shame NRMA! Also, some of the ocean view villas don't have a car park next to the cabin,so good luck trekking all your gear back n forth. The internet is non-existent. Only two channels work on the TV. The ocean is stunning and the beach. But as for the resort..find somewhere else for $350 per night. Not coming back. This twenty five person group will not be coming back to this place. 🤢
