Quality Bathurst

For a family road trip overnight lay-over this hotel fulfilled all of our needs. It’s not a place you’ll remember but it is modern, well-located, and there was nothing much to critique. The good: check-in was polite and painless. Our family suite (107) was clean, quiet, contemporary, comfortable, and adequately appointed. The décor is modern, chain hotel, racing car theme (what else in Bathurst?), vanilla. Everything expected was there and it all worked as expected. The beds – 1 x queen + 2 x singles – we comfortable, the linens crisp and clean, and we were each able to find a favourite pillow. The bathroom is modern, spacious, and all the plumbing worked well. All our devices connected easily to the Wifi which worked well. The TV provides access to all the popular streaming channels. Parking was literally at the front door. The not so good: Not much here, but there’s no breakfast service unless you count their $15 DIY survival pack. In any case, there are plenty of decent breakfast restaurants to choose from in town.

We stayed one night at Littomore and found the receptionist very friendly. The room was on the smaller size but was clean and tidy. The room had a microwave, toaster, kettle and appropriate dinnerware. The room was quiet and was in close proximity to town with good areas for parking. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open however it was a short walk into town for an amazing pizza. The only issue was the aircon making loads noises - we turned it off and the room remained warm throughout the night. The receptionist was advised of the issue for follow up but it didn’t detract from our stay.
