Absolutely freezing inside. Expected to walk in from the cold and enjoy the warmth but that was not possible. The room was nice but cold when we arrived. The a/c struggled to warm the room. The restaurant was also cold. Again not what we expected. No electric blankets sadly. The promised extra 10% discount to Rydges members was not automatically applied and we had to request it. The room was nice and clean and aside from the a/c the noise was minimal. The receptionist was very obliging.

Stayed a night, room was great bed was amazing, as was view. However the restaurant was below average for this hotel. Entree was tasty however overpriced for what we got. We both ordered steak for our main, mine was meant to be smaller but looked bigger. While cooked to med/rare had little flavor. The ribeye came with a bone which was cooked as ordered but was much smaller. Service, below average. Waitress tried but guy who took our order and payment needs a new job! No customer service at all. Def loved hotel but looking at how many pple staying an how many eating in restaurant thats the weak point.

Overrated and very disappointing We went as everyone goes to Bathurst if one has a Mustang. The highlight of our trip was going around the circuit. The room was fine. The shower over a bath was not what we expected and quite dangerous. The bathroom was tired and needed a lot of work. We could hear everyone’s toilet flushing during the night. The bed was so soft and the pillows were substandard as they were so soft they couldn’t be used. I’m sure there are those who would appreciate that but we weren’t one of them. I had no complaints with the staff as they were working with management that didn’t want to pay public holidays pricing though we had to. We intended to have dinner at the inhouse restaurant but no, it was closed as they had told staff not to come in. Not even room service was available. We went to breakfast the next morning and there was only one chef in kitchen and only one front of house. Breakfast was again not what we were expecting. I have had better in a chain restaurant in Europe. No fruit, minimal cereal. I’m not being overly critical as we had been to other hotels and restaurants around NSW prior to this visit. No complaints about any of them. The only decent experience we had was that parking was excellent
