Apartment 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces, covered parking space, well equipped. Pool and tennis access on site. The unguarded but beautiful beach is 8 minutes walk via the national park, overlooking the Byron Bay Lighthouse. The only downside are the bathrooms which are aging and very humid and the air conditioning which is not in the rooms so it is hot at night. Otherwise intermediate category, not luxurious but everything is there. We are in the center in 5 minutes by car and accessible by bus also. We rub shoulders with the Australians in the jaccuzi, they come back every year!

A really solid resort We stayed in Lorikeet Treehouse. Facilities really top notch, the kitchen equipment was the best we’ve come across at a self catering resort. Hot tub on the deck was a great life upgrade. Only thing was it was a tad pricey, at close to $1000NZD per night. But you do get value for that. Would we come back? Yes.

We stayed at the Currawong Treetop Apartment. We found the apartment to be tired and in need of maintenance. There were a number of missing posts in the deck balustrade, making it very unsafe for young children. This requires urgent attention for safety reasons. Parking was tricky, especially for a large car. The hotel grounds and pool were great.
