Booked a 6 nights stay at Holiday Inn Bondi Junction The staff were friendly and accommodating also the reception upon checkin also reminded me to renew my key card when she saw my in the elevator. A nice gesture. Room is okay but a bit dark and sometimes the internet was a bit choppy since my assigned room was a bit on the farther end. Overall, it was generally peaceful

Had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Bondi Junction. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just walking distance to Westfield Shopping Centre and the train station, which made everything super convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I especially loved the writing table in the room — a decent size and perfect as a workstation for getting some work done during my stay. Highly recommend!

The location is great, being close to the Bondi Junction bus station. However, I was really put off from the start by being told that I had to present a physical credit card (not a virtual one on my phone) and that the number would be typed into their system. This is totally bad practice from a security standpoint and quite unacceptable. Tap or chip should be used by physical merchants, so that there is no way for card numbers to be leaked if their systems get hacked. Apart from that, my card is in IHG's booking system, so why do they need it at all? There was a blackboard saying that breakfast on weekends is from 7am-11am, but I was told that it's been changed to 10am. If you've been out late on Saturday night, why should you have to wake up early on Sunday morning for breakfast? That's what happens when you're living with your parents, not when you are paying someone handsomely for the service. And not bothering to change the blackboard when you've reduced your services is just amazingly lazy management. While my room was fine physically, there were crumbs and threads on the floor near the bin, so the cleaning was not great either. Added to the service issues, the cost cutting and the lack of a swimming pool, this hotel is way overpriced.
