We had a great stay at Bishop's Lodge on our drive from Sydney to Adelaide. When we arrived after dark, we appreciated that the air con was on already on to warm the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was perfect. With very little road noise, I would recommend Bishop's Lodge for a great nights sleep.

We were very happy with our choice. Outside the main town but in a less crowded location and next to the Bishops Lodge which is well worth a visit and has lovely gardens. Our spotlessly clean room had loads of storage, a kitchenette and full wardrobe and was well designed so the spacious ensuite was not next to the bed as in so many motels. Quite a bit of noise from road trains but it eases off at night so is not a big problem unless you are a very light sleeper. Staff were friendly, accommodating and willingly gave us lots of extra supplies and information during our three night stay. Lovely walks by the river and places to visit. Be sure to see the Dunera Museum. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed overnight in Hay on our long road trip. The motel is just on the outskirts of Hay, although near the highway it is set well back from the road and we didn't experience any road noise. The motel has a lovely little resturant attached and is well worth booking in for your dinner as the town of Hay has limited options for meals. The room was clean and provided all necessary amenities. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Hay.
