Peppers Anchorage

Only had one night on the way home from further north, and it was sumptuously relaxing and beautiful. The room was huge, the bed was massive, and oh so comfortable - had the best night sleep that night. The dinner was beautiful, and so was breakfast. The unexpected discovery of free EV charging was a nice bonus.

Port Stephens is tucked away and not easy to get too but once you arrive lovely. The Resort is modern and attached to a Marina, easy walks along the beach paths to town. Room was clean and spacious, excellent shower and towels, comfy bed too. Best breakfast buffet I’ve experienced in many years, freshly prepared you must try the Bircher Muesli honestly it’s best I’ve ever had, Chef explained it’s an old recipe they haven’t changed in 10 years. Super friendly staff. Great spot

Service was excellent and the buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had. Congratulations to the staff and commitment. The onsite Beauty Spa was sensational. Disliked · From Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning breakfast the place was over run by the very rowdy Ferrari Club. It was a shame as it ruined the experience. The group was loud and inconsiderate of other guests trying to relax. They used the dining areas as group meeting locations, hogging tables to chat and moving chairs from other tables etc.
