had an unresolved issue with my room and spoke to a man on the 4th floor who identified himself as the manager. Throughout the conversation he stared at me in a strange, unsettling way. When I said I wasn't happy with how things were handled, he replied, "Who's looking? There are no cameras," and then said, "I'm the manager — I'm the king of this place." I felt genuinely intimidated and unsafe, and I left immediately. The rest of the staff were polite and professional, but no guest should ever be spoken to like this by management. I've lodged a formal complaint and hope the hotel investigates.
