Lidcombe Motor Inn

Stayaway from this filthy place,bad food,service poor.wont recomend anyone stwp in this placw.i hope they close.only robbing people of there money from pokies.there is alot of sick people in this venue.please people dont come here mark my word

Stayed at the Lidcombe Motor Inn because of proximity to Lidcombe train station and the Olympic Park. Location is good and the place is cheap in comparison to other options. Staff was OK, and offered the basic requirements I needed HOWEVER (!), the room was dirty. I really wonder if the sheets had been washed.... :( The fitted sheets on my bed where ripped with a hole in them.(WTF!!) and the corners of the shower where black and had MANY hairs. Literally the corners in the shower where black with gunk. It hadn't been cleaned well in many months. The toilet stand was badly cracked as well. During my stay there was plenty of construct nearby so lots of noise first thing in the morning and plenty of car noise racing around during the night. Ok, you get what you pay for, but you expect hygiene.... If the lack of turns you off, don't stay here.

We arrived at the room late. Upon pulling back the dirty bedspread I found long black hairs on the pillow, in the bed and all over the blanket. Disgusting! The carpet was filthy, it looked like it has not been cleaned for years. The bedside lamp was broken and stuck together with a piece of sticky tape, seriously, a lamp is about $8 in Kmart. This motel is totally disgusting and I would never stay there again and I would certainly never recommend it to anyone!!
