Marriott Sydney Harbour (Dlx City Vw)

Traveled to Sydney for the third year in a row and have consistently stayed at the Sydney Harbour Hotel at Circular Quay. Staying here is not due to its close location to the Harbour and Opera House, but also due to the service. Having dinner after a long day of work at Silvester's is refreshing especially when you recieve outstanding service from associates like Awam. He is attentive, friendly and committed to excellence. This alone will keep me coming back to this hotel!

This is Marriott at its best! While the bathrooms may be a bit dated, the service and quality at this hotel is 5 star! We had a room overlooking the opera house and it was wonderful. As Bonvoy members, we had breakfast in the Elite lounge each morning which was delightful and lots of hot options and fresh options. Elevators were quick and accessible. Bathrooms, Beds and towels were clean. But it was the staff that made it perfect. Front desk check in was easy and fast and helpful. they gave us our first Tim Tams! Jane and the other front desk staff (I wish I remember their names) were so helpful with suggestions for food and shopping and experiencing Sydney. The Concierge staff was also wonderful with suggestions and reservations. It was a young man (his name is ARM) who helped us make a doctor's appt for our daughter who had a bad scrap on her foot. He called them and made an appt for the next day. The doctor was $74 US and the medicine was $15 US. I love the health care in Australia! Thank you to ARM for his help. We sent some laundry at the hotel and it was well done and quick. We saw other Marriott properties in Sydney, but would recommend this one not only for the convenient location to the harbour and shopping and restaurants, but for the excellent service.
