Meriton Serviced Apartments Pitt Street

We had the 2 bedroom unit. The property is a recently refurbished estate so fittings and appliances are new but there is only so much a facelift can do. That said, it felt modern enough and clean. Front desk makes it clear that room cleaning is every 3rd day but you can always call down for any refills or requests. The apartment was large and had all the modern day necessities (TV, fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer, dryer, coffee maker). The 2 balconies were a nice to have. But the clincher is its location. Food everywhere. Walking distance to Town Hall, Museum and Gadigal metro station. Down one end is the Australian Museum. The other end is Chinatown. Few stops from everything. There are 2 large supermarkets just round the corner to pick up necessities and snacks. We will return to the property if we visit Sydney again.

This is the review you are waiting to decide for this place. This place is amazing. Great location near of sydney attractions and transportation. We reserved a two bedroom apartment. It had a full equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room and beautiful views. It was very nice and we would definitively stay again when we come back to Sydney. We loved every second of it.

We stayed in Meriton Suites Pitt Street from 28 March through 30 March and 3 April through 5 April. This is the second time we stayed in this property. Honestly, our past experience with it was far from good, but we really found the location very convenient. If you want to stay here, you'd better adjust your expectation because there is no housekeeping. And if cleanliness is a major issue, I suggest you choosing another property. The room itself is old and worn and it does not look clean. Slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes, water would be provided on demand. You may also ask the staff to give you extra towels. Wifi connection is extremely poor and slow - If you need to work during your trip, I would advise against booking here. The rates are on the expensive side but we chose this property because of the two-bathroom configuration and prime location. Some of the staff were helpful and nice (I remember her name is Hailey) and we were thankful for being able to check-in earlier after a long flight on 28 March. We were also allowed to check-out an hour late on 5 April.
