This was my second time staying at The Social because I had such a great experience the first time! The vibe is amazing, the staff are super friendly and always happy to help. Everything is really clean and well looked after. I’ll definitely come back again and highly recommend it to any traveller looking for a fun and welcoming place to stay. Thanks!!

We came for new year and it was really quite cheap compared to other hostels at the time which were easily £50+ night and this was less. The staff are an absolute 10/10 and that was the highlight of our stay. Though, the hostel room itself was really quite dirty, the kitchen was full of dirty washing, and the bathroom was pretty bad as well. The hostel was really noisy at night too. However if you are a budget backpacker visiting Sydney and don’t mind the place being a bit dirty aslong as you get a decent bed - it’s perfect.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room included a private bathroom and kitchen, as well as a convenient space to store personal belongings. Each bed had excellent privacy thanks to the curtains. The property is well-maintained, and the rooms are cleaned every morning. It’s in a good location, allowing for easy access to the city center in just a few minutes by public transport or a longer walk.
