Kims Beachside Retreat

Another Wonderful Stay at Kim's. Once again, Kim's delivered an exceptional experience. For a peaceful mid-winter escape, it's hard to imagine a better destination. Our beachfront accommodation [Long Beach] was positioned just metres from the sand, allowing us to enjoy spectacular sunrises every morning of our five-day stay. Breakfast is always a highlight, with a generous continental selection, delicious cooked options, and outstanding coffee. Dinner is equally impressive. The à la carte menu offers something for everyone, and I can highly recommend the eye fille - always cooked perfectly. We return to Kim's twice each year for the same reason. It's the ideal place to unwind: arrive, greet the familiar friendly faces, then retreat to the beachfront verandah with a good book, a favourite beverage, and the stunning ocean views. What truly sets Kim's apart is the atmosphere and the people. Diana, Peter, and General Manager Adelaide lead an exceptional team whose professionalism, enthusiasm and focus on guest experience is second to none. Adding to the ambience is the wonderful piano accompaniment from local musician Dorian Mode, whose performances make Wednesday and Saturday evenings feel just that little bit more special. The Kim's experience is difficult to capture in words alone. Unashamedly adults-only, it remains the perfect destination for a quiet and relaxing getaway. And remarkably, it's all just an hour from Sydney's northern suburbs. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The location is superb, but that's not even the half of it. The staff are wonderful, the food is top-notch, and the tranquility is to be prized. I only stayed three nights, but feel so refreshed and re-energized.

Lovely location right on the beach, peaceful & calm vibe. Unfortunately our bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep. I mentioned this checking out & were told new beds were being delivered that day. Overall the resort needs a major upgrade. Staff were friendly & pleasant.
