Angourie Rainforest Resort

Not happy with our stay. There were ants EVERYWHERE, even under our pillows. I messaged the property at the time but all they gave was a late checkout. Since then the ants at the property got into our bags and followed us to our next property. When we unloaded everything they were EVERYWHERE!! Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice and spacious apartments. Very relaxing vibe. Great pool and yummy food at the onsite restaurant (room service was a fantastic option with a little one).

I stayed at the NRMA Angourie Resort for my birthday and, unfortunately, did not have a positive experience. On Saturday, March 21st, I lost a valuable personal item in the jacuzzi area, approximately between 5 and 6pm, directly in front of a security camera. As it has not been returned, I must also consider the possibility that it may have been taken from my belongings. When I reported the incident, the staff members were helpful and supportive, and I was informed that I would be contacted if the item was found. As this did not occur, I followed up by email requesting that the CCTV footage be reviewed so the situation could be clarified. I was advised that my request had been forwarded to the management team; however, my it appears to have been ignored, and no action have been taken. As a guest who invested a significant amount to stay at the NRMA resort, I believe it is entirely reasonable to expect transparency regarding what happened. The lack of response and proper handling of this matter has been extremely disappointing. I simply wanted to understand the circumstances. Given this experience, I will not be returning to the hotel and do not intend to renew any insurance services with this company, despite having been a loyal customer for many years. Very disappointing.
