Had lunch there yesterday, ordered grilled fish of the day and chicken carbonara pasta. Both meals main us fill sick , absolutely discussing. Our advice would be don’t go there

I was absolutely disgusted by the way my business partners I were treated. We pushed two tables of 4 together to accommodate our company. An Airlie beach hotel staff member scolded us like we were school children . After some respectful discussion, we complied and moved inside and continued our night. One of the mums ordered spaghetti for her daughter who is 3yo. We were enjoying ourselves, a security person asked us to leave after we finish our last drinks. I asked why and the security said because we were being rude to a staff member. We said we will be happy to leave after the child Finishes her dinner. I was then asked to leave, astonished I asked why . He gave no reason. Embarrassed I left to not start a scene. I am a successful business owner who employs a lot of people throughout Queensland. However I am not known in the Airlie even though I am currently investing a lot in the canonnvale and bowen regions. I have never been treated with such blatant discrimination in my life ! What a narrow minded and primative place! I am absolutely discusted in the Airlie Beach hotel. I will never take the chance in inviting business clients to this place again, I will not risk being humiliated again. What a terrible place.
