Colonial Village

Just got back from 10 days at Ingenia Taigum and was very impressed. The cabin was clean , comfortable and modern. The village is close to shops and is about $11 to the local train station if you dont want a 20 min. walk if you are car less. Have been here in the past and will definitely use it again. It had a good kitchen with a full size fridge and also a washing machine, which came in handy. Yep, a good place. Situated roughly half an hour by train to the city of Brisbane.

DO NOT stay at this place. I stayed here 2 nights with my family including 3 children. The three bedroom cottage was way over priced and out dated. There were ants everywhere the internet wifi didnt work and the lock on the toilet door was broken and has been for a while by the look of the stupid latch. To top it off this place has permanent residence on site and were drinking and openly discussing their use of drugs. There party went on till 4am with random people from outside coming and going. There is no staff on site to manage the crazy long term residence who were clearly off the face on drugs. It is not a safe place for kids. We had to approach these people and ask them to wrap up their party, which they ignored. By 4.30am there were multiple people vomiting outside our cottage. Absolutely disgusting. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY. Also staff couldn’t care less what had happened!!

Comfortable motel style unit, room nice and bright and well worth the price paid, addition of the microwave was a great help. Overall reasonably quiet. Nice pool area, check in a little confusing due to limited office hours. Location only a short walk to bus stops. would gladly stay again if we need to be in this area of Brisbane again
