My partner and I stayed here for two nights last week. Have stayed here before and it is perfect for us, being so centrally located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. It only takes about 20 minutes to get to QPAC by walking across the river on the foot bridge. Wi Fi was unsatisfactory in the Room we stayed in (302), - when connected, we could not get a good signal for Internet. Therefore could not use Netflix etc on the TV, or use free WiFi on our mobile phones. Mentioned this to Reception, and they gave us a new Wi-Fi login, but this made no difference. I see that some other reviews also mention poor Wi-Fi. Perhaps its time that management looked in to this. Other than this, everything was good, and our room was lovely.

I stayed recently at Macarthur Chamber while visiting Brisbane. I had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and well appointed which gave it a modern homey feel. Macarthur Chambers is located right in the heart of the CBD at the end of the Queen Street Mall, very close to all conveniences like shopping, public transport, South Bank and the Queen street Mall is across the road. The room was quiet, clean and the kitchen was well kitted out with all cooking essentials such as microwave, stove, electric fry pan, cutlery, plates etc. Check-in was an easy process. The bed was comfortable although very firm, as were the pillows. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and all showering amenities were provided. The negatives were: - the Balcony sliding door latch/lock was broken so could not be locked or latched - there was no lighting in the kitchen so the kitchen was dark and I could not rely on the rangehood light for cooking as it did not work, this made cooking difficult - cooktop (Gas) did not work, I tried everything, it would click to fire up but nothing would light, the microwave was a saving grace, and all the writing on the knobs had worn off, so again this made using difficult - some of the light switches didn't seem to turn lights on - the hallway had a musty damp smell, but this wasn't the case in the room itself The room price was average for the area and although there were many negatives if the price was right I would stay again, but I would not rely on the kitchen for preparing food

Well, what can I say? Your tap card for car park access does not function properly, (and hasn't done for 12 months, according to other reviews I read). This situation made me nearly half an hour late for my daughter's birthday dinner....NOT HAPPY 😡 Then when we wanted to kick back and watch the tv in the bedroom...no remote control to be found anywhere! And then...the clincher. Someone else's clothes in our drawers...means that the place clearly doesn't get cleaned! (See photo). Would not recommend, nor stay here again under the current management.
