METROPOLITAN MOTOR INN

There’s a $200 deposit to check in that’s not mentioned at all on the Agoda booking details page when I booked and paid for a room for 3 nights. As I was not informed and didn’t plan for this expense I’m unable to check in. Incredibly inconsiderate and inconsistent policy for what should be a cheap and cheerful hotel in the city. The room itself doesn’t cost $200 per night and just no consideration from the front desk even though I’ve booked a few nights, and am travelling solo. Just because there’s a policy the hotel invented to insure a few used towels, that isn’t a good enough reason to be inconsiderate to travellers, your customers. Also, the room has already been paid for. I don’t owe you money to be refused check in.

The location was perfect for our stay. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Room was very modern, comfortable and very clean. The noise was unfortunately the only issue BUT was expected as it is in the city at an intersection and totally unavoidable. Parking was easy as we arrived early and able to walk to our appointments. Good value for our money.

stayed for 3 nights, hotel dated & tired looking , room clean but small could do with an update, lady on reception when we got there was helpful gave us a lot of info, but other ones on reception didn't even look up when we came through, not bad location bit of a steep hill from station so bear that in mind if you are dragging a suitcase in the heat, mon - fri there is a little cafe adjoining hotel which is handy, not open on weekends
