Our stay at Oasis Inn Apartments in Cairns was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately I would not recommend staying here. There were five of us in a two-bedroom apartment, yet we were only provided with one face cloth, one hand towel, for all of us . There was only one roll of toilet paper for the entire apartment, and when we asked for more, we were told we would have to pay $1 per extra roll. There was no tea towel or dishcloth provided, which made it difficult to wash and dry our dishes. We also asked if we could use the barbecue, only to be told that if we did, we would be charged a $200 cleaning fee. When we looked at the barbecue, it wasn’t even clean to begin with. The cleanliness of the apartment itself was well below expectations. The cupboards were dirty, the floors needed cleaning, and both couches were covered with sheets, which seemed unusual and made us wonder about their condition. To make matters worse, there were loud domestic disputes outside during our stay, with police attending the property. It did not feel like a comfortable or relaxing environment. Overall, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve had. Between the lack of basic supplies, poor cleanliness, extra charges for essential items and facilities, and the unsettling atmosphere, we felt the property offered very poor value for money. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

I have stayed in budget hotels before no problem but this one just cut corners. Stated has tea and coffee but would not supply a small udl milk, has coin operated laundry but will not provide $1coin for operation. Laundry is fated with very old machine and it takes 4 x $1 coins. Very noisey will locals yell and brawling throughout the night so no a restful sleep. Close to airport so you get plane that was fine. Very dated inside and limited cooking utensils. Gate code is mounted on gate so you have to leave car to put in code and get wet if it’s raining. Staff not helpful very short on answers u and service. One good point cleaner was beautiful spoken and professional other than him saw no other staff. Parking ok with covered and uncovered parking available inside. Pool was green may have been due to winter but still off putting. Unit was reasonably clean for its age but show year of wear on flooring and bathroom. Can with gas stove and oven but no crockpot for the oven and limited pots and pan. KFS were very limited and not complete for more the 2. The internet pic are very deceptive as looks like photoshop or very old. Ac is the old box type with limited power points. There was no alarm clock and since they don’t provide much of the other stuff I dare say also no wake up calls but did not use service.

Horrible place to have a holiday. Do not book this place. Crockrochas running, no glass on the toilet windows, he asked me to cover it with a towel. cleanness nil. No standards. Management doesn't care. Booked for 4 nights through Expedia. Pictures all deceiving. All a neglected, no safety, no nothing. They catering for hospital patients. Hospital equipments all over the place. But the pictures on the websites looks so deceiving. They are from another era. Ruined my whole holiday. We stayed there for only 45min. But charged us for 2 nights. Not in Australia standards at all. I do not know what the local government doing letting places like this to operate. Never trust a website again. He laughed when we said we are leaving. I had to rebook another for the double the amount. So disappointed Cairns. Do not go here
