Daintree Riverview

Ahhh, the serenity. Never have i stayed anywhere so quite. The rooms were comfortable. Cooking appliances and utensils galore in the communal cooking areas, and the lodge nature meant eating our meals at the tables on the patio where you can take in the beauty and serenity of the area. Recommended!

I stayed 1 night in my Campervan, arrived quite late in the afternoon and no one was at the reception. I first parked on the lower end near the river but then changed to stay at the top near the toilets and kitchen. The kitchen is small, with a 2 burner gas stove, microwave and kettle. Its an outside kitchen with a roof and 2 tables, but has got a few utensils like pots and pans. Bathroom was clean - that said, 1 shower has a hole with a cane toad living in it 😅 I paid the next morning before going on a croc tour. I thought it was good value for $17 (unpowered), would stay again

Great location high above a river full of crocodiles! You can sit a look out over the river watching every ripple to see what it is! Crocodile boat trips run from here with knowledgeable guides. We saw 4 crocodiles, a goshawk and had a great chat!
