Comfort Inn Bayswater

Extremely tired motel, with original fittings from around 1980s. The mattress had lost its comfort layer and was down to the firm springs causing pain, this left a super firm mattress. Even if they fitted a memory foam topper it would have been OK. Some things normally available in a motel were missing. Soundproofing is lacking between motel units, TV & neighbours in neighbouring unit, easy to hear. Bock out drapes had worn and light was visible.

Great location, competitive rate, close to hospital, Club Tweed bowls and public transport. Tweed Mall one kilo away and further on beach. Bed was acceptable, room quite, only issue step into bath shower. Staff were friendly and I was a returning customer.

Not a place I would go to again, the motel was a little tardy and rundown to be expected in an older style motel but the cockroaches running around the room and over the bed while trying to sleep was a little to much. Got a refund and moved on to somewhere a little sanitary
