The location and room are top-notch. You can walk to restaurants, cafés, and bars. Coles is just over the road. However, our problem was with the services. We had a three-night stay at this location but encountered only lukewarm water on the first night. The problem was reported to staff the next morning. The gentleman at reception was empathetic and acknowledged that we should not have to have cold showers. He immediately organised a maintenance man to remedy the situation. Later that day, he even sent us a message stating that the hot water service had been fixed. We came home to a hot shower on the second day. We went out adventuring on the third day to come back to stone-cold water again. As it was after hours (reception is closed after 5 pm), there was no one to report the problem to. Next morning, after a cold birdbath, we checked out and reported the problem to the lady at reception so the next patrons would have hot water. Well, the empathy shown by staff was colder than the shower. There was no apology or any concerns other than to say “oh, that’s no good”. Overall, the stay would have been highly memorable, but to have the basic amenities denied has left a huge negative impact on the quality of our stay.

Great location just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Apartment was spacious and very clean with all the facilities.
