No one there to book us in, had to wait in the heat, no toilet paper in the bathroom, the room smelt musty. The fridge wasn’t turned on & had been closed so it was full of mould. Pillows were lucky to be 10cm thick. One was stained after removing the pillow case as it smelt musty. We used to live in Gladstone & stayed there a lot for overnight stays away from teenagers. We also stayed there once a month for 10 years when we moved to Yeppoon as we still had work in Gladstone as it was an affordable price. It’s way overpriced now for the state of the place. Over the last 20 years the place has been mismanaged & let go. Nothing in the rooms has been changed in 20 years except maybe the bathroom vanities & the TV’s. Sorry, never staying there again.

Towels were soft. Shower was hot. Cleanliness was gross. Stairways and verandahs are carpeted and haven’t been cleaned for years. Pillows were about 1inch thick. Don’t understand how they get a licence to run the place

The Website is ridiculously desceptive claiming 4 Stars! I imaginge a San Salvador prison cell to be cleaner and smell better. The furnishings are so filthy that they are beyond cleaning. The odours of dog, damp, mould and musty smoke were overwhelming. Carpet and chairs were filthy, to the point of being almost oily. The balcony had been doused with a Drain Cleaner making breathing difficult. Airconditioner remote was missing batteries and condesation flowed down the curtains and saturated the carpet. I left in the early hours in the morning, only to be attacked on the stairs by the Alsation that had been barking all night in the room above. Never again. Better to stay in your car.
