DO NOT BOOK HERE Harassment, threats and intimidation! Is this a prison or a resort? We are disgusted by the staff! We paid in full upfront. Check in is 2pm, but reception closes at 11am, making it impossible to follow their policy. We arrived after 11am to no staff and didn't think it'd be a big deal as thats their procedure. The next morning, at 9:48am, I got a text demanding I come down to pay the $300 bond. I explained I was very unwell with a chronic illness and the flu & that my boyfriend would return shortly. At 9:50am, they text a threat to call police if I didn't come immediately. Again, I said I'm sick but my partner would be there soon. At 9:52am, a male staff member appeared at my door, banging & yelling, continuously harassing & intimidating me. I asked for privacy as I needed to lie down due to debilitating pain. He stayed for 15 minutes. His behaviour was aggressive, intimidating, & unlawful. My boyfriend returned at approx. 10:10am and paid the bond, showing the harassment was completely unnecessary. I have seen multiple other reviews stating a Chinese man ENTERS apartments which is highly illegal. The only reason he didn't enter mine is because I told him I was recording the whole thing. After this, I checked reviews & found many reporting similar incidents: staff entering apartments uninvited, yelling at guests, & withholding bonds. After the harassment and reviews I became insecure about paying the $300 bond. Many reviews state that they hold the bond. I brought this up with the receptionist said she the reviews were all lying & promised to release the bond in front of us at check out (10:00am) but on the day refused , claiming she never promised that & gaslighted us. She was condescending & dishonest saying its 'common sense' that she wouldn;t release the bond?? The wifi NEVER worked despite repeated assurances it would work the next day (7 days no wifi). It is clear they just lie to get you off their case and never have any intention of fixing their issues. The apartment was filthy with leftover food on all the pots and utlesils, grime, & fingerprints. It is very cheap & not well equipped (1 toilet roll for 2 people for 7 days). The property is inaccessible for elderly or disabled guests as it is only all stairs. This property harasses, intimidates, and gaslights guests while providing poor facilities. They act like they're running a prison or a mafia operation, not a resort! Watch as they will respond to this review with a generic copy and paste as they do on all bad reviews. Since my stay I have seen even more reviews stating the PHYSICALLY abused customers and I completely believe that is true. This place should be out of business and you must avoid it at all costs.
