Honest review. We were given our first room And ran into afew problems. Staff immediately gave us a new room and were very helpful and lovely. We have enjoyed our stay at Royal Palms Resort the pool and spa area is great for families. Also has a bbq area. Access to the beach and short walk to pirate park. Listening to the sound of nothing but waves crashing at night has been amazing. Has a gaming area downstairs for the kids, has a little gym. Car park parking is tight but nothing you can do about that but be careful. Overall stay has been great, peaceful and exactly what we needed as a family.

This accommodation was really disappointing. Even though the apartment has been recently refurbished it was filthy. Food on the floor in the lounge room, soiled doona covers, filthy cutlery and crockery that required a deep clean in the dishwasher before we could use it. The washing machine was mouldy and by the amount of dirt behind the beds, they have never been moved to be cleaned behind. This accomodation was not inexpensive and a much higher standard should have been delivered The main bedroom had only 2 coat hangers while the 2nd bedroom had none. The balcony chairs were mouldy and the glass balcony doors regularly came off their tracks. The ensuite bathroom shower door has no seal, so the bathroom floor was constantly wet and slippery. There were no teaspoons in the apartment, no frypan and only 1 wine glass. The lamp in the 2nd bedroom also did not work. The pool and its surrounds were good and the resort is an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. In all honesty I could not recommend this accommodation.

We stayed here for a week and were delighted. The complex is really well maintained, the pools very clean. There are plenty of loungers and parasols on the private beach by the sea. The staff is really very nice and accommodating. One day we went to the Aqua Center to book a snorkeling tour. Very nice team, especially the boss Abo Raslan, explained everything to us perfectly and we were out on a boat for 5 hours and snorkeled on very beautiful coral reefs. Worth recommending
