Whitsunday Apartments Hamilton

We like the apartment. It is spacious, comfortable and has a beautiful view to the beach. Besides the nice cacatua that visit the hole. The acoustic insulation, however, is not very good. We heard the conversations and people walking through the hallways as if they were inside the apartment. The hotel staff made a lot of noise early in the morning in the hallways. The location is very good. In front of the beach and easy access to the marina and the center because there is a free bus that spends more or less 10-10 minutes making travel much easier. The hotel also provides transfer on arrival and departure to the airport. Very good. There is laundry with washing and drying machines available.

We’re on the 11th floor and have the most spectacular view of the pools, beach and neighbouring Whitsunday Island. The apartment is huge but sparsely furnished with only one armchair, 2 divan beds and a small dining setting. The wifi is NON EXISTENT! The bed is comfortable. It is acceptably clean but not spotless. You are paying for the view!!! We had to ask every day for our room to be made up, and that just meant fresh towels and bins emptied. No bed made, no cleaning done. That’s fine by us, but just so you know what to expect. The staff are super friendly and lovely. But the building is looking quite tired in areas. BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED, THEY HAVE NO KITCHEN OR DINING AREA. So even though we were told breakfast included, it was NOT. Luxury Escapes were very apologetic about there mistake and offered a $50 credit for our next holiday within 12 months. That wasn’t acceptable so I negotiated and they’ve agreed to reimburse $100. Considering breakfast for 2 here on the island costs about $80 per day for 2 people, I think that was ok.
