Country Comfort Mackay Resort

Mackay Motel (wouldn't call a resort) has a nice pool and rooms though not new were nice and clean. Only breakfast is available. Was a little noisy but not too bad for it's location. My only negative was our bed was terrible and didn't get a lot of sleep as the bed sagged in the middle and had to trying to sleep on the edge.

What a amazing place to stay the night. The owners and team on site have gone above and beyond.The room has everything you could ask for, a home away from home. My husband is 6'3 and the towels in the bathroom are generous in size. Our bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out of it. It might be a small thing, but for me being a big coffee lover, the coffee mugs were amazing. Close to the city centre & attractions. We our out of towners, but didn't like like we were here, thank you for a fabulous stay, see you on the way back from Cairns.

Everyone was friendly, pool was great for the kids, breakfast was great, only problem was the parking, should put lines, some vehicles took up 2 spaces. Close to shops and eateries.
