Boutique Bungalows

I actually didn’t get to stay there!! It was the weirdest thing as when I contacted via phone number provided by booking.com the man who answered was straight up abusive. Apparently I had not read the fine print well enough and when suddenly found out flights had changed that we would not make 6pm checkin. I rang to explain our flight had been delayed and he said straight up - stiff! We do not accept late check in. Note: we have stayed there before and found it quite nice hence rebooking. I then made several more calls to which I got no response to explain that I had arranged for a local to pickup the key for me. When he didn’t answer we rang from my husbands phone and got a terse reply to go thru the booking platform. I then did this and explained our flight dilemma and local to pickup the key. Suddenly my card was rejected!! Booking cancelled! My card is set in there and always works so I cannot explain this either. Anyway I am grateful they decided to refund the whole amount but no explanation. I have a sneaking suspicion he had double booked the place as I cannot come up with any other explanation. I won’t be staying there ever again.

We have just spent 3 wonderful nights here and even though the cold snap was bad we were cosy and warm in our bungalow. The property is a rainforest heaven with wildlife all around including cassowary and chick. The bungalow was well equiped with all you could need and very clean. There was a bowl of fruit and breakfast goodies on arrival more than enough and a nice thought something we have not had in other places we have stayed. Our room was made up every other day a nice extra little something we did not expect. There is a lovely deck to sit and watch the passing wildlife and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the property. The owners Steve and Sharon are lovely and have taken every care to make sure your stay is comfortable. they also take care of wildlife and are only too happy to chat about it if you are interested. we will most certainly return soon.

Such a great stay at boutique bungalows. So close to the beach, so much wildlife around the property and amazing facilities. Each room/bungalow is private and is well equipped with a bbq, small washing machine, lounge area, extremely comfortable bed and more. The pool is beautiful at night time with twinkle lights. The owners are so great and also run a wildlife rescue so if your interested in animals they are great to talk to. Will 100% recommend to friends and will be returning on my next visit to mission beach!
