Gulfland Motel And Caravan Park

We have been on the road for 3 weeks. Hands down the worst park of all. Called to reserve and they gave us the 3rd degree and demanded alot of personal details.Upon arrival had to go through it all again and produce my driver's licence to prove I was the person with my van? When question was told that this is a must in QLD for public liability insurance. Sounds like a total CROC OF #&÷7 We thought that the rustic look was the theme of the park. How wrong were we. The ammenities where in need of a total gut job. The permanent van next to us had a workshop set up operating a grinder and a lathe. With large containers of waste oil. The park in general was dirty and would highly recommend driving by to the van park down the road.

Wonderfully helpful staff. Rooms clean and tidy. Pleasant stay and great weather made it a pleasurable visit. Really great hosts, thanks Kate and Helen. Adorable interior in tge bar/ restaurant area. Pool outback if you need a cool dip after a hot day

Had my doubts about the A/C, but it did the job quite well. Just took some time to cool the room initially. Room has a fridge, TV & weak Wi-Fi. Bed was pretty comfy. Bathroom not great. Shower not even remotely cold & water will go all over the floor. Expect wildlife in the bathroom, but that's pretty standard for this part of the world
