COMFORT INN & SUITES MARI COURT

Location is good. But the state of the room is disgusting. We arrived to find only the beds were changed. Nothing was cleaned. Showers were full of hair, soap scum along the grout and floors. Sinks and mirrors not cleaned. Didn’t vacuum either or mop as hair all over the carpets and tiled flooring. Kitchen wasn’t clean. Fans all dusty. What looked like blood on the carpet . They said it’s paint. Of course I complained. They said they got a housekeeper in. But no sign of anything cleaned just vacuum in the bedroom and bathroom, nothing was cleaned. I took video and send them via email of all the hair etc in the bathroom, I tried to call them first thing this morning but number isn’t working. Eventually managed mobile number which didn’t work either. She did however call me . But still it’s not clean and not up to standard at all. I have my own cleaning business and I would never let anyone walk into accomodation of filth!!

Extremely dirty oven and extractor have caked on grease, fans dusty ,scum mark in the bath, all switches dirty,knob missing off one fan control, flyscreens dusty.Only one toilet roll in each toilet for a 3 bedroom apartment .Only allowed 2 keys for the room. Needs a damn good clean, not just a vacumn and bedding change.Very dated and old.Only has aircon in the lounge.

I booked a 2 bedroom executive apartment, upon arrival we noticed a musky smell lingering throughout the unit. We inspected the aircon and noticed the thick dust that was built up on the filters. We also noticed the growth of BLACK MOULD on either side of these filters. This has been reported to health and safety as black mould poses significant harm to health. The cleanliness of the resort was well below average, I would not even rate it 1 star. We had shards of glass pierce the foot of one of our guests we were holidaying with as they were moving the bed. The bed is on wheels in a carpeted area, it is easy to move. not to mention a pill that resembled an illicit drug was found in the lounge. Simply removing the lounge cushion would have ensured that this was discovered by staff, not a guest on holiday. The mattresses look like they were found at the local dump, the stains and mould over it without a cover is highly concerning and disgusting. I slept elsewhere as it was disgusting! We were also given ONE toilet roll between 3 adult guests. There was no other toilet rolls and when we asked the staff at the front desk, we were told we needed to buy some as only one toilet roll was complimentary. I have emailed the resort privately on our first day, and no reply thus far. I have sent another email and still awaiting. I am wanting a refund/compensation for the terrible stay and the waste of money on a hotel that felt like a run down, crack house.
