Federal Hotel

We requested a refund due to flight cancellations. Hotels.com advised that the hotel had agreed and once we checked out the refund could be applied. After checkout Hotels.com advised the Hotel has decided to follow their cancellation policy and not [ay the refund that they had agreed to pay before we stayed. Very dissapointed and will never stay here again. I suggest to other travellers to be wary of this hotel as they don't hold up their promises to their customers.

Reception was amazing and easy. Very friendly the room was large however the carpet wasn’t clean and the bathroom was not clean. The room had a damp musty smell and could smell faint urine smell. One of the chairs had cigarette ash all over it. I asked reception for air freshener and they were very accomodating. Family and friends also stayed and their rooms were lovely and clean it is a very nice motel and would stay again but not in disabled room

Checked in late 11pm and staff were friendly and helpful. Good clean and tidy room at good rate. Bed was comfy, had a queen and single in room so there was heaps of space. The pub next door was open and opens late so good if you want a night cap. Just what was expected. Is stay again.
