On The Beach Holiday Apartments

Great location, waves rock you to sleep at night and surrounded by great restaurants. The whole complex looks really tired and units could do with refurbishment. The surrounding palm trees and greenery make up for this somewhat. Having said that, this is good value for money and comfortable, clean and close to everything. Save on accommodation and spend up on the great food nearby.

Before I start, this review is for anyone who likes to focus on every tiny fault in a property. Sometimes it's worth looking at the bigger picture and judging a place on the overall experience rather than a few minor imperfections. For context, we stayed in Room 52 at the Blue Marlin Apartments – a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. **The Minor Negatives** * There was a small hole in the screen door mesh. * The water pressure in the ensuite shower ranged from poor to average (the main bathroom shower was much better). * The ensuite and bathroom window frames are showing some minor signs of corrosion. * One of the ceiling trims above the fridge could do with a fresh coat of paint. * There is no lift/elevator access to the rooms. * Some of the metal balcony railings are showing signs of rust. Could I have spent my holiday looking harder for faults? Absolutely. But honestly, I wasn't there to inspect the place with a magnifying glass. None of the above issues affected our stay in any meaningful way, but I've included them for completeness. **The Positives** * Location, location, location! Directly across the road from a patrolled beach. * Front balcony with beautiful beach views. * Washing machine and dryer looked brand new, or were exceptionally well maintained. * Microwave and oven were also very clean and appeared almost new. * Plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans – more than enough for a family stay. * Master bed was firm but comfortable. * Second bedroom had two single beds that were softer but still perfectly comfortable. * Air conditioning and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the main living area. * Secure undercover parking. * Well-maintained swimming pool. * Very short walk to the pub, cafes and other eateries. * And did I mention the location? I'm sure there's plenty more I could say, but those are the things that stood out most. If you're looking for a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment right opposite the beach, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops, and in a fantastic location, then this is definitely worth considering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would happily recommend it to others, and will absolutely be back the next time we're in the area.

Had a lovely stay, the apartment was very comfortable had everything you would need. comfy bed and great shower. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Opposite the main beach. The pool was lovely and very clean. I would definitely stay here again, great value.
