Great location on the Outback Highway making it an excellent stay if you're doing a tour at Nilpena Ediacara NP, driving north or on the way to Flinders Ranges NP. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff greeted and thoughtfully took care of us throughout our stay. Very clean, modern and comfortable room with a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and chilled water provided. Lovely bar with a great atmosphere, excellent food in the restaurant really showcases outback produce. Peaceful and relaxing even though had quite a few guests. We had an early start so the staff organised a picnic breakfast for us. A high quality experience and will organise future itineraries to stay there again.

Amazing standard of accommodation in this remote part of Australia with its striking landscapes. Excellent staff (special mention for the very capable Jemma) and a welcoming owner. The surrounds, front facade and verandah retain the outback pub look while the interior bar and dining area are a substantial step up to to a smart country feel. The newer accomodation wing then goes to yet another level with its spacious, modern, smartly appointed rooms and appealing lounges. All beautifully done and an enormous credit to the owners who are local pastoralists.

Totally wonderful experience. Make it for sunset on the verandah, watch the sunset over the desert. Dinner was delicious, and the dining room graced with artworks by local artists, and coffee table books in the area nearby. Great attention to detail throughout, and our regular room had plenty of room, and was incredibly comfortable. Though a treat in the desert, it's understated style makes for a very enjoyable stay, though its somewhat surreal when you head out in the am as you really are in the middle of nowhere!
