Alberdeen Court Motel

This is an old motel and like most in Australia, probably dates from the 1960ies but it was comfortable and gave us a chance to cook dinner. It offers a guest laundry for a nominal price. There are two floors, we had a unit at ground level but didn’t experience any noise from above. If you had one of the first floor units you would have to carry your luggage up.

Aberdeen Court motel is located on Punchbowl Road Launceston - set back from the main road in a cul de sac block. I t consisted of several two story buildings - we stayed on the second floor . Due to a flight change and late arrival - we did not arrive until after the 21 00 cut off time. We rang the owners and advised that our flight had changed and we would be late - she stayed up and kept the office open until we booked in (21 20 hours). The owners were friendly and helpful Th room was large and had a kitchenette (fully stocked with utensils) as well as a fridge, microwave, TV etc - all that you would expect. The bathroom was large and everything worked well - however no toiletries were supplied The motel was very busy during our stay - lots of contractors from various companies were staying. All in all the stay was OK - everything you could expect

A quiet unpretentious motel. Reception was great and along with the reasonable tariff the stay was once again very enjoyable. Easy driving access to shops, tourist sites and a quiet location was very convenient for our needs. Would recommend this Launceston motel for a relaxing stay.
